Fruity, intense, floral.
The name was inspired by the beautiful story of "Storia di una Capinera" by Giovanni Verga.
Inzolia, an ancient grape variety, is grown in vineyards across Sicily. It was first introduced to the island during a significant migration from the Greek islands to the Western Mediterranean in the 8th and 7th centuries BC. Traditionally, most producers have chosen to cultivate their vines near the coastline, but we have taken a bold step and decided to grow it in the mountains, next to a spent volcano.
La Capinera wine is a masterpiece with a straw yellow color and tantalizing citrus notes that will awaken your senses. The palate is bright, lively, and decisive with firm acidity, giving refreshing notes of pears, apricots, and almonds, leaving a surprisingly complex, enjoyable finish.
This wine is a true inspiration, perfect for all occasions, and a true representation of the beauty and elegance of the land of Sicily.
