Velvety, fruity and floral.
The wine's name is inspired by the character 'Ntoni of the novel "Malavoglia" by Giovanni Verga.
The vineyards and grape variety found in the area of Vittoria date back to the 17th century, according to a letter written by Commendatore Rosario Cancellieri from Vittoria to Baron Mendola. This discovery inspires us to appreciate the rich history of winemaking in Sicily and the dedication of those who have cultivated these vineyards for centuries. We continue to honour their legacy by producing exceptional wines that showcase the unique terroir of the Vittoria region.
‘Ntoni is a wine of ruby colour, brilliant, with fruity aromas clearly whose name etymologically recalls, but also with floral notes; fresh taste but well structured, accompanies any dish. With deep ruby colours and purple hints, the nose finds irresistible fruity aromas of strawberries, pears, and peaches, followed by floral notes such as poppies and orange flowers.
